Housing output in Belarus expanded 11.6% on the year in January-September 2021 to 3.071 million square metres, the National Statistics Committee said in a statement. </p> <p> </p> <p> For families officially registered as households that need to have their housing conditions improved 1.277m sq metres (up 20.9%) of dwellings was commissioned in Jan-Sep 2021, or 41.6% of total housing output. </p> <p> </p> <p> Housing completion in the countryside amounted to 859,500 square metres, (28% of the total output), up 1.7% yoy. </p> <p> </p> <p> In 2020, 4.156 million sqm of housing was commissioned in Belarus (+2.3% compared to 2019).
