Belarus govt puts 15% ceiling on profit margin for machine-building industry manufacturers

The government of Belarus has put a 15% ceiling on the profit margin used to determine the amount of profit to be included in the prices of various types of machinery produced by machine-building companies and sold on the domestic market. This decision has been laid down in government resolution #434 of 28 July 2021 published on the National Legal Internet Portal on July 30. </p> <p> </p> <p> The list of products includes 36 items, including lifting machines, loaders, equipment for agriculture and forestry (tractors, seeders, seed drills, combines, logging equipment, etc.), excavators, dump trucks, dump trucks, cars and trucks, buses, electric buses, trolley buses, mobile cranes and special-purpose machinery.
