Belarus’ govt approves list of price-regulated socially important goods
<p> MINSK, Jan 20 - PrimePress. The government of Belarus has approved a list of socially important goods, the prices of which are regulated by the Ministry of Antimonopoly Regulation and Trade (MART) for up to 90 days in one year (government resolution No.22 of January 18, 2021 posted on the National Legal Internet Portal on January 2021). The list includes 33 commodity items. </p> <p> </p> <p> According to the resolution, the list includes fresh-frozen fish, canned fish, meat (beef and pork, including bone-in pork), chicken meat (including broiler chickens), edible meat offal (except poultry offal), canned meat; cooked sausage products; semi-smoked, cooked-smoked sausages; pasteurized cow milk and kefir from cow milk, sour cream, cottage cheese; cheese (hard, semi-hard); vegetable oil (sunflower, rapeseed); butter; margarine; fresh chicken eggs; wheat flour; rye and rye-wheat bread; bread, bakery products (loaf) made of wheat flour; dry pasta that does not contain durum wheat flour; oat flakes without flavoring or other additives; polished rice, polished, buckwheat groats, semolina, millet groats, pearl millet; white crystal sugar; table salt; baby food (dry mixes, porridges, canned food); fresh potatoes, table beets, table carrots, white cabbage, onions, garlic, sweet peppers, cucumbers, tomatoes; fresh apples; black tea; instant coffee; drinking water (in containers); matches; bar toilet soap, bar laundry soap; toilet paper; paper tissues; sanitary pads (bags) for women, and diapers. </p> <p> </p> <p> The resolution entered into force upon its official publication.
