Belarus facilitates conducting and monitoring of some foreign trade operations – decree

Belarus has simplified the procedure for conducting and monitoring some foreign trade operations, in particular, the declaration of commodities not subject to customs formalities. This is in line with presidential decree No.182 of June 1, 2020, which amends several provisions of decree No.178 of March 27, 2008 on the Procedure for Conducting and Monitoring Foreign Trade Operations, the presidential press office reports. </p> <p> </p> <p> According to the procedure for the declaration of commodities not subject to customs formalities, a statistical declaration is to be filed once a month on one or more shipments (deliveries) of commodities under a foreign trade contract, if the total cost is equivalent to €3,000 or over (previously €1,000 or over no later than seven business days from the date of shipment (receipt) of commodities. </p> <p> </p> <p> Also, periodic statistical declarations are no longer required, which means that only a statistical declaration is to be submitted instead of statistical and periodic statistical declarations. According to the procedure for the declaration of commodities not subject to customs formalities, a statistical declaration is to be filed once a month on one or more shipments (deliveries) of commodities under a foreign trade contract, if the total cost is equivalent to €3,000 or over (previously €1,000 or over no later than seven business days from the date of shipment (receipt) of commodities.
Also, periodic statistical declarations are no longer required, which means that only a statistical declaration is to be submitted instead of statistical and periodic statistical declarations. End
