Belarus’ export revenues up 31.8% in Jan-Sep 2021 to $34.981bn

Belarus’ foreign exchange revenues from exports of goods, services, non-financial transfers of companies and private households increased by 31.8% year on year in January-September 2021 to $34.981 billion, reads a statistical report released by the National Bank of Belarus. </p> <p> </p> <p> In September alone, FX revenues grew 47.7% year to date to $4.426 billion; up 30.3% year on year. </p> <p> </p> <p> Revenues from commodity exports grew by 38.4% year on year in Jan-Sep 2021 to $26.887 billion, export of services – up 14.7% to $7.402 billion, incomes – up 11.9% to $223.7 million, other transfers – up 5.4% to $467.7million. </p> <p> </p> <p> Payments for imported goods and services, non-financial transfers of companies and private households grew by 25.2% year on year in Jan-Sep 2021 to $32.988 billion. </p> <p> </p> <p> In September alone payments for imported goods and services grew by 39.8% year to date, up 35%7year on year, to $4.076 billion. </p> <p> </p> <p> Payments for imported of goods grew 28.7% year on year in Jan-Sep 2021 to $27.332 billion, payments for imported services – up 10.1% to $3.898 billion, payments of incomes – up 14.4% to $1.203 billion; transfers – up 5.2% to $554.1 million. </p> <p> </p> <p> All in all, Belarus produced a surplus of foreign trade payments for goods, services, non-financial transfers of companies and private households in Jan-Sep 2021 in the amount of $1.993 billion to compare with a $177.7 million deficit in Jan-Sep 2020.
