Belarus’ export of pipeline transport services down 4.1% to $253 million in H1 2021

Belarus reduced export of pipeline transportation services by 4.1% year on year to $253 million in January-June 2021, according to the National Statistics Committee of Belarus (Belstat). </p> <p> </p> <p> Exports of pipeline services in January-June 2021 accounted for 5.2% of Belarus’ total exports of services. </p> <p> </p> <p> According to Belstat, the export of services in January-June 2021 increased by 17.6% year on year to $4.833 billion of the total exports of services of Belarus in January-June 2021, according to the balance of payments methodology. </p> <p> </p> <p> The share of the EEU countries was 18.4%, of which Russia accounted for 17.1%, EU countries - 39.7%, other countries - 41.9%. </p> <p> </p> <p> Belarus provides the Russian Federation with services for the transportation of Russian oil and gas to Europe.
