Belarus’ domestic debt down 2.1% in Oct 2021 to Br14.811bn

Belarus’ internal debt decreased by 2.1% on the month in Oct 2021 to Br14.811 billion ($5.797 billion) as of 1 Nov 2021 by the International Monetary Fund’s Special Data Dissemination Standards, Belarus’ Finance Ministry said in a report. </p> <p> </p> <p> Of the total internal state debt, the long-term debt of the government accounted for 72.57% in Oct 2021 (74.7% in Sep 2021), short-term debt for 0.0002% (0.0002%) and the debt secured by the government for 27.43% (25.3%). </p> <p> </p> <p> Belarus’ internal debt grew by 24% year on year in 2020 to Br13.78 billion ($5.393bn).
