Belarus Development Bank to provide $1.6m loan to Minsk National Airport, and $200,000 loan to Orsha Airfield in 2021

Belarus Development Bank will issue credits in 2021 in the amount of not more than $1.6m to Minsk National Airport SE and not more than $200 thousand to Orsha Airfield, in accordance with government resolution #9 of January 14, 2021, published on the National Legal Internet Portal on January 15. </p> <p> </p> <p> According to the resolution, Minsk National Airport will receive the loan for the construction of a second artificial runway with auxiliary facilities. Orsha airfield is getting a loan for overhaul of the existing runway, reconstruction of taxiways, construction of auxiliary facilities. </p> <p> </p> <p> The document stipulates that the loans will be issued at 3.29% per annum. In 2021 65% of the interest will be paid from the central budget, another 35% from the Republican Fund of the Civil Aviation and the Non-budget Centralized Investment Fund of the Ministry of Transport and Communications of Belarus.
