Belarus Development Bank to finance €4.5m shipment of MTZ tractors to Mongolia

Belarus Development Bank (BDB) will provide financing for the €4.5 million shipment of MTZ agricultural machinery to Mongolia. </p> <p> </p> <p> As previously reported, Minsk Tractor Plant (MTZ) will supply more than 130 BELARUS tractors to Mongolia. Shipment will begin in June 2021. Besides BELARUS tractors, they also plan to ship 440 units of agricultural machinery of other Belarusian manufacturers. </p> <p> </p> <p> The foreign trade contract for farming machinery delivery to Mongolia was signed between the Ministry of Industry of Belarus and the Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Light Industry of Mongolia in Minsk on June 4. </p> <p> </p> <p> The contract is implemented under the intergovernmental agreement, with funding to be provided by the Development Bank of the Republic of Belarus. </p> <p> </p> <p> Minsk Tractor Plant (MTZ) was founded in 1946. It is the largest tractor plant in the former USSR and one of the largest tractor-making enterprises in the world. </p> <p> </p> <p> MTZ Production Association is one the world’s largest tractor producers. The company produces a large variety of tractors ranging in power from 20hp to 355hp. MTZ currently runs 20 tractor assembly projects in 12 states. End </p>
