<p> MINSK, Aug 31 - PrimePress. Belarus’ 2021-2025 programme for social and economic development suggests an algorithm for transforming the country’s territories into strong regions. Deputy Economy Minister Anzhelika Nikitina made a statement to this effect at a regular meeting of the permanent seminar at the Parliamentary Assembly of the Union State of Belarus and Russia, the press service of the Economy Ministry reports. </p> <p> </p> <p> The algorithm provides for rebooting the potential of cities with a population of more than 80,000. In each such region, they are planning to set up two to three new enterprises that have no analogues in the country, Nikitina explained. </p> <p> </p> <p> In her words, the development of 13 specialized clusters will contribute to the economic and innovative progress of the regions. Also, they intend to apply new approaches to the territories with preferential regimes. The emphasis is on individual work with an investor: everyone will be able to choose the most suitable and attractive set of benefits and preferences. </p> <p> </p> <p> Besides, according to Nikitina, they are going to focus more on the territories affected by the Chernobyl accident. “These are the lines of work that will create jobs right now,” Nikitina said.
