The average nominal accrued wage in Belarus decreased by 1.4% month on month in Sep 2021 to Br1,442.7 ($593.72 at the official rate of the National Bank of Belarus), the National Statistical Committee of Belarus (Belstat) reports. </p> <p> </p> <p> In real terms (adjusted for the increase in consumer prices), the average grew 3.2% year on year in September 2021. </p> <p> </p> <p> Regionally, September’s highest average salary was in Minsk City at Вr2,009.9 ($827.15), down 0.33% month on month; the lowest average salary was traditionally seen in Mogilev Oblast at Br1,180.6 ($485.86), down 1.64% month on month. </p> <p> </p> <p> In Sep 2021, the average wage in manufacturing industries stood at Br1,552.6 ($638.95), down 0.75% month on month; construction – Br1.548.7 ($637.35), down 4.6%; retail trade – Br1,155.5 ($475.53), up 1.2%; education – Br948.5 ($390.34) up 0.58%; healthcare – Br1,304.5 ($536.85), up 1.57%. </p> <p> </p> <p> To compare, the average monthly wage in Belarus’ IT industry in Sep 2021 stood at Br5,582.4 ($2,297), down 1.17% month on month.
