Arbitration court set up under Kunyavsky Business Union
<p> MINSK, Oct 4 - PrimePress. A permanent arbitration court has been set up at the Professor Kunyavsky Business Union of Entrepreneurs and Employers. The Minsk City Executive Committee has registered the court with the certificate No 19 dated 15 September 2021, the business union’s press service reports. </p> <p> </p> <p> The business union’s arbitration court consists of four judges. “They are ready to consider disputes of any economic entities (not only members of the union), including non-residents of the Republic of Belarus. The competence of the court includes a wide range of issues except for bankruptcy and disputes with the state authorities,” the business union said. </p> <p> </p> <p> Besides, the parties are free to choose arbitrators. The cost of resolving a dispute is almost half as much as in an economic court, with a generally quicker disposal of the case. At the same time, the closed format of the dispute provides confidentiality and preservation of commercial secrets. Finally, an arbitration decision cannot be reviewed by an economic court. End </p>
