A1, Belarusian provider of telecom, ICT and content services, offers its subscribers compensation for mobile Internet bandwidth reductions in Minsk in October 2020, the company says. </p> <p> </p> <p> Mobile Internet restrictions in Minsk on October 4, 11, 18 and 25, 2020 ordered by authorized state bodies and for reasons beyond company’s control caused the service to work incorrectly for 19 hours 27 minutes in total. In this regard, the A1 management made a decision to provide compensation to mobile subscribers (individuals and legal entities). </p> <p> </p> <p> Mobile subscribers (individuals) will receive compensation for 500 MB of free Internet traffic/1 GB of Internet traffic or free 50 minutes of calls to all networks/3 GB of traffic or free 100 minutes to all networks/5 GB of traffic or free 250 minutes for calls, depending on the amount of the monthly fee, up to Br10/Br10-15/Br15-30/over Br30, respectively ($3.8/$3.8-5.7/$5.7-11.4/over $11.4 at the rate of the National Bank of Belarus, respectively). </p> <p> </p> <p> The Business Class and Share Wi-Fi Pro package subscribers (individuals) and participants in the Special Offer for New Subscribers promo action of the Unlimited package, Bonuses for New Subscribers promo action of the No Limit package and Get Back Your Number to A1 Network will be reimbursed 100% of the fee for one day. </p> <p> </p> <p> Mobile subscribers (legal entities) and individuals serviced under the individual corporate program will be provided with compensation in the packages that include 500 MB of traffic and over in the amount of 100% of the daily subscription fee for one day of lack of service; mobile Internet subscribers that use tariffs/paid Internet packages that only include Internet traffic will be reimbursed 100% of the daily subscription fee/package cost for one day of lack of service. </p> <p> </p> <p> Adjustments of subscription fees to legal entities will be made automatically and included in the bill for November 2020. </p> <p> </p> <p> Belarusian telecom operators previously reported a reduction in the bandwidth of the data transmission in Minsk by order of government agencies on August 26, 23 and 31, September 6, 13, 20 and 27, and October 4, 11, 18 and 25, 2020.
