48.6% of Belarus-based IT companies admit possibility of relocation - BEROC study
<p> MINSK, Jan 21 - PrimePress. In Belarus, 48.6% of IT companies consider possible relocation from the country in one form or another. This follows from the results of a survey conducted by the BEROC Center for Economic Research in December 2020, which involved 315 companies of the IT sector. </p> <p> </p> <p> “Most often, temporary relocation of individual employees and individual assistance to those wishing to relocate, as well as opening an office in another country during the year, were identified as possible for them. Product companies are more sensitive to negative changes in the market compared to outsourcing companies. This year, IT companies forecast further shift of employees to teleworking, reduction of lease payments and changes in remuneration. Image losses from legislative changes in Belarus are more significant for Hi-Tech Park residents than for other companies. End </p>
